The appointment of Renée Slegers as head coach mid-way through last season proved to be a masterstroke as the 36-year-old former Dutch international guided Arsenal to their second UEFA Women's Champions League triumph and second place in the WSL.
Despite having not won the league since 2019, the Gunners have not finished outside of the top three since 2014 - a run of 11 years. Their fourth-place finish that year is so far the only time they have not finished on the podium in the league.
Manager: Renee Slegers
It would be hard for Renee Slegers to top her opening act as Arsenal manager, after leading the club to UEFA Champions League glory just five months after being named head coach.
The former assistant to Jonas Eidevall won 55 caps for the Netherlands during her playing career as a midfielder.
She then began a coaching career in Sweden, winning a pair of league titles with Rosengard and eventually joining Arsenal in 2023 as an assistant coach to Eidevall.
When he resigned last October, Slegers took over as interim head coach initially, before getting the role full-time and leading Arsenal to continental glory at the end of her first season at the helm.
