Manchester United will play Champions League football for just the second time in their history after finishing third last term – missing out on matching their best league return of second place after suffering a defeat to Arsenal on the final day last season.
Since being formed in 2018, the Red Devils won promotion to the WSL at the first time of asking during the 2018/19 season and have also contested the last three Adobe Women's FA Cup finals, winning the competition in 2024.
Manager: Mark Skinner
Now entering his fifth year with Manchester United, Marc Skinner will be looking to add to the FA Cup he has already won with the Red Devils this campaign.
Skinner signed a contract extension with United in April that will keep him at the club until 2027, after he helped pip bitter rival Manchester City to third place in the WSL and a qualification round spot in the Champions League.
Before United, the 42-year-old managed Birmingham City and Orlando Pride. He was particularly successful at Birmingham, guiding them to an FA Cup final while on a significantly tighter budget than some of their rivals.
In 2025/26, Skinner will hope to guide United to their first knockout appearance in the Champions League and challenge at the top of the WSL table.
