Bristol City will go into the new WSL 2 campaign with a new boss after Charlotte Healy's appointment. It is her first head coach role having previously been with Manchester United for six years in various guises.
The Robins have won promotion to the top tier twice in the last nine years and know what it takes to win the second-tier title, having done it most recently in 2023.
Manager: Charlotte Healy
Charlotte Healy was installed as Bristol City’s head coach in the summer of 2025 after six years as Manchester United’s assistant.
Healy replaced Stephen Kirby, who stepped down after City finished sixth in 2024/25 – their first season back in the second tier after relegation from the top flight.
Healy’s coaching career started at Derby County, while she has also worked across various academy roles at Manchester City and Liverpool.
At Manchester United, she progressed from her initial role as Academy Manager to become Marc Skinner’s assistant with the first team, helping them qualify for the Champions League for the first time as well as lifting the Adobe Women’s FA Cup in 2024.
