The club was founded in 2017 and play their home games at St Mary's Stadium, alongside Southampton's men's team.
During their three seasons in the second tier, Southampton, now managed by Simon Parker, have finished a respectable sixth, fourth and eighth.
Manager: Simon Parker
Appointed to the role of First Team Head Coach in July 2025, Simon Parker is returning to a club and city that has shaped much of his career.
A Southampton local, Parker began his managerial journey with Southampton Women’s FC, where he guided the side to both the league title and league cup, achieving an impressive 89% win rate across a two-and-a-half-year spell.
His first experience of the second tier came in 2019 as Assistant Coach at Lewes, before stepping up as Head Coach a year later. Parker led the side to their best-ever Championship finish in 2020/21.
He then headed to Portugal with SC União Torreense, losing just once in the regular season and remaining in the Campeonato Nacional de Futebol Feminino South Serie.
A return to England followed with Blackburn Rovers, where he transformed a relegation-threatened team into a solid sixth-place finisher in his first season.
Parker will now hope to help Saints build on their eight-placed finish last term.
