Barclays WSL2 Player and Goal of the Month nominees for March revealed
The nominees for the Barclays Women’s Super League 2 Player and Goal of the Month awards for March have been confirmed, with voting now open across both categories.
Supporters have the opportunity to cast their votes from today, with the winners set to be decided following the close of voting at 10am on Wednesday 15th April.
Player of the Month nominees
Four players have been shortlisted for the Barclays WSL2 Player of the Month award, recognising a series of standout performances across March.
Newcastle United’s Emily Murphy is included following an impressive run of form, while Crystal Palace’s Aimee Everett also earns a nomination.
Ipswich Town’s Lucy Ashworth-Clifford is shortlisted alongside Nottingham Forest’s Joy Omewa, rounding off a strong group of performers from across the league.

Six goals have been shortlisted for the Barclays WSL2 Goal of the Month award, highlighting some of the best finishes from across the league in March.
Sunderland’s Katie Kitching is nominated alongside Durham’s Tyler Toland, while Sheffield United are represented by both Amy Andrews and Joy Ralph.
Newcastle United’s Jordan Nobbs also features on the shortlist, with Birmingham City’s Lily Crosthwaite completing the selection.
