Ian Wright Returns to His Roots: Starting the First Girls Team at Ten Em Bee | Barclays WSL

Ian Wright returns to where it all began.

Ten Em Bee has been a cornerstone of the South London community for over 50 years, but for most of that history, it’s been a club for the boys. Now, Arsenal legend Ian Wright is joining forces with Coach Paul Palmer to change the game and launch the club’s first-ever girls' competitive football team, in a new series supported by Barclays.

In this series premiere, we meet the girls breaking down stereotypes, from aspiring lawyers to multi-sport athletes, all looking for the one thing Ian had growing up: the simple opportunity to play.
