Macario, Beever-Jones & Cuthbert Secure Blues Win! | Chelsea v Leicester City Barclays WSL 2024-25

Chelsea moved eight points clear at the top of the Women's Super League with a 3-1 win over Leicester City at Kingsmeadow. Catarina Macario's deflected free-kick opened the scoring before Aggie Beever-Jones doubled the lead. Yuka Momiki pulled one back for Leicester with a brilliant lob, but Erin Cuthbert's late strike sealed the victory. Sonia Bompastor’s side are now 14 points away from a fifth successive WSL title, while Leicester remain six points clear of the relegation zone.
