Arsenal turned on the style at the Emirates, putting seven past Leicester City to keep their title hopes alive and condemn the Foxes to a bottom-place finish.

Frida Maanum marked her 100th WSL appearance with the opener before turning provider for Smilla Holmberg. A first-half brace from Stina Blackstenius put the game out of reach, while second-half strikes from Mariona Caldentey, a second for Holmberg, and a Leah Williamson header completed the rout.

While the Gunners pile the pressure on league leaders Manchester City, Leicester now face a high-stakes relegation play-off on 23 May to salvage their top-flight status.
