Sheffield United remain bottom of the Championship standings after a goalless draw with fellow strugglers Blackburn Rovers. Leanne Cowan came close to heading the Blades into the lead when she met Abbie Lafayette’s freekick but she was only able to steer her effort wide of the posts. Down the other end of the pitch, Rovers fullback Hannah Luke rattled the crossbar after rifling an effort from distance. The two sides had played out a six-goal thriller in their most recent meeting last December but both defences stood tall at Bramall Lane as the two teams were forced to share the spoils.
