Fantasy Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (these "Terms") govern your participation in the WSL Football Fantasy Game (the "Game"), the official fantasy football game of the Barclays Women's Super League ("BWSL") and Barclays Women's Super League 2 ("BWSL2") accessible via the WSL Fantasy Football website at wslfootball.com/fantasy ("Site") or the WSL Football mobile application ("App").

In these Terms, any use of the words "you", "yours" or similar expressions shall mean any user of the Game. Any use of the words "WSL Football", "we", "us", "our" or similar expressions shall mean Leagues OpCo Limited (company number: 15731019).

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an Account and to participate in the Game.

Subject to 3.1, if you are under 18 years old:

The Game is free to enter. No purchase of any goods or services are required from you at any point to register an Account or participate in the Game. How well you do in the Game will be determined by the selections you make and by the performance of real players in real matches in the BWSL and the BWSL2.

The rules of play for the Game are available in the 'Help' tab, accessible via the Site here ("Help").

The Game is only accessible via the Site and the App.

You are responsible for the internet connection, device, and data charges required to access and participate in the Game. We are not responsible for any charges levied by your network operator or internet service provider.

Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, and are in no way associated with, the Game. Any question, complaint, or claim relating to the Game should be sent to fantasycomplaints@wslfootball.com and not to Apple Inc. or Google LLC or any other third party.

All registrations for an Account must be made via the Site or the App. You must have an Account to participate in the Game. Any attempts to register an Account in any manner other than via the Site or the App will not be accepted. Once you have successfully registered an Account and created a team for the Game, you will become a player of the Game (a "Player").

Registering an Account and participation in the Game is open to both UK and non-UK residents.

Accounts must not be registered by agents or third parties. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed or incomplete registrations or registrations not received by WSL Football for whatever reason. Any such registrations will be deemed void.

Only one Account per individual is permitted. There is no limit on the number of Accounts per household or organisation. Individuals are not permitted to register multiple Accounts.

While there is no closing date for registering an Account, WSL Football will publish deadlines from time to time by which you must be registered as a Player in order to qualify for points awarded. Further details regarding any Matchweek or Leg deadlines are set out in the Game Rules (as defined in Section 4.2 above).

WSL Football reserves the right at any time to: (i) change the name of any Player (if the name the Player has used to register an Account is not their legal name), the team name of any Player or the name of any league; and/or (ii) suspend or delete any Player or any league, without liability and without obligation to provide any reasons, if WSL Football, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems such names to be, inappropriate, offensive, promotional or otherwise in breach of these Terms.

When registering an Account to participate in the Game, we will ask you provide us with certain personal data, including your first name, last name, date of birth and email address. Any personal data which you submit to us when registering an Account or participating in the Game will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.wslfootball.com/privacy-policy. We will only share your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and as set out in these Terms.

Both UK and non-UK Players are entered automatically into the overall league and into the league for the BWSL or BWSL2 club you selected as your favourite club during the Game registration process.

All Players can create and join Private Leagues in accordance with the Game Rules (as defined in Section 4.2 above). "Private League" means a non-public league created in the Game by a Player, which other Players may only join by invitation by the Player who created the league or by Players who have subsequently joined the league.

WSL Football does not permit any Player, individual or organisation (save for WSL Football and, with the express consent of WSL Football, the BWSL and BWSL2 clubs) to create, or participate in, any Private Leagues for any commercial purposes.

In the event that WSL Football determines, in its sole opinion, that a Private League has been created for commercial purposes, WSL Football reserves the right to, without any liability whatsoever, immediately delete such Private League and/or immediately suspend or delete the Account of any Player who is the administrator of, or a participant in, such Private League. WSL Football cannot be held responsible for the management of any such Private Leagues or any loss suffered by Players or any third parties through Players’ involvement in such Private Leagues, including but not limited to where such Private Leagues or Accounts are deleted by WSL Football in accordance with these Terms.

The Game Rules form part of these Terms and by registering an Account and participating in the Game, you accept the Game Rules (as defined in Section 4.2 above). WSL Football reserves the right to alter, amend or supplement the Game Rules in accordance with Section 18.

WSL Football is the decision-maker on any matter of interpretation of the Game Rules and on any aspect of the content or playing of the Game, including the allocation of points, the award of any Prize, and any ranking or league table. We will exercise that discretion reasonably and consistently.

WSL Football may choose to award prizes in respect of the Game ("Prizes"). Such Prizes will be available at the discretion of WSL Football and in accordance with criteria set by it. Full details of the Prizes, including the criteria for winning the Prizes, are set out in the 'Prizes' tab, accessible via the Site here ("Prizes").

WSL Football reserves the right to alter and amend the Prizes or the criteria for winning a Prize, where circumstances beyond its reasonable control require it to do so. If we alter or amend a Prize in accordance with this Section, we will substitute such Prize for a prize of equal or greater value where reasonably possible, and we will publish the change on the Prize Page.

No Prize awarded includes a cash element. Prizes are not transferable and are non-exchangeable.

BWSL and BWSL2 players, employees of WSL Football and members of their immediate families and households, may register an Account and participate in the Game, but are not eligible to win a Prize. Where such a person would otherwise win a Prize, the Prize will be awarded to the next placed Player.

Section 9.4 above does not apply to employees of BWSL or BWSL2 clubs (save for their players), members of the immediate families of BWSL and BWSL2 players, our commercial partners, sponsors, suppliers, or agencies.

WSL Football will make reasonable endeavours to accommodate any needs or requirements of Prize recipients and, if a Prize includes travel or attendance at an event, WSL Football will seek to agree dates with the recipient. However, where the recipient is unavailable on the dates provided by WSL Football, the Prize may be forfeited, or WSL Football may select the next placed Player.

In the event that any aspect of any Prize is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond WSL Football's reasonable control, including but not limited to, weather, travel cancellations, epidemic, pandemic, acts of God, acts and advice of Governments or acts of war, WSL Football shall not be responsible for such cancellation or postponement and that portion of the Prize will not be awarded and no additional compensation will be provided. No refunds, compensation or credit for changes to Prizes are allowed.

Unless otherwise stated in these Terms, all Players are eligible to win a Prize provided the winner in each case has complied with these Terms.

BWSL and BWSL2 clubs may offer their own prizes in connection with any club leagues they create in the Game. If applicable, such prizes are offered by the relevant club and are subject to that club's own terms. We are not responsible for prizes offered by a club, and any questions about them should be directed to the relevant club.

Prize winners will be notified by email, using the email address they used to register an Account. We may ask Prize winners to provide: (i) their postal address and a contact telephone number if such information is required in order for the winner to receive their Prize; and/or (ii) reasonable evidence of their identity, age, and place of residence. This email is a service communication, not a marketing email.

Each Prize winner must respond to such email within fourteen (14) days of the date of the email to confirm that they wish to receive their Prize and to provide any information reasonably requested in accordance with Section 10.1 above. In the event a winner does not provide such confirmation, we reserve the right to award the relevant Prize to the next placed Player.

Subject to Section 10.4, if Prize winners provide their written consent, WSL Football may use their first name, last name and team name for editorial, promotional, marketing and/or publicity purposes in any and all media worldwide (beyond publication on the Site and the App under Section 10.4). Where a winner is under 18, the consent of a parent or guardian will also be required. Prize winners will still be eligible to receive their Prize if they do not provide written consent for WSL Football to use their first name, last name and team name for editorial, promotional, marketing and/or publicity purposes.

By registering an Account and participating in the Game, you agree that, if you win a Prize, your first name, last name and team name may be published on the Site and the App as a Prize winner.

WSL Football reserves the right to not award a Prize to a Player if in its reasonable opinion, awarding the prize would breach applicable laws or regulations.

You warrant and agree that you shall not upload or post or otherwise publish through the Game or in relation to the Game, any content, materials or information that:

While participating in the Game you warrant and agree that: (i) you shall not permit any other person access to your Account (save for your parent or guardian, if you are under the age of 18); and (ii) you shall keep passwords for your Account private and confidential.

You are responsible for ensuring that the device you use to access the Game via the Site or the App is enabled with appropriate up-to-date virus checking software.

In the event of any breach by you of these Terms, WSL Football reserves the right in its sole discretion to:

All such decisions by WSL Football will be final and no correspondence will be entered into, save that we will confirm to you via email that your Account has been disqualified on a permanent or temporary basis (as applicable).

If you are disqualified from being a Player and/or your Account has been deleted by WSL Football in accordance with these Terms, you shall not be eligible to participate in the Game under any other identity or team name.

Any breach by you of the Game Rules from time to time shall also be a breach of these Terms.

We, or our licensors, own all intellectual property rights in the Game, including without limitation the associated graphics, trade marks, logos, branding, images, design, software, and Game data. Those rights may not be used by any Player without our prior written consent.

BWSL and BWSL2 player data and match data used in the Game is licensed to us by our data provider and remains the property of that provider or its licensors. You may not extract, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit such data.

Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not upload, post, publish, reproduce, transmit, or distribute any component of the Game, or create any derivative work from it.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes WSL Football's liability for (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) liability arising from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to Section 14.1, WSL Football accepts no liability to you for any loss, damage injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of participating in the Game or accepting a Prize, including but not limited to the following types of loss which you may suffer as a result of accessing and/or participating in the Game:

While the WSL Football aims to ensure that the Game has no faults, has accurate content, and is available to you at all times, we do not make any legal commitment to you that this will be the case.

WSL Football reserves the right at any time to modify, enforce a period of Game downtime (where you may not be able to access the Game) or discontinue the Game with or without prior notice. In the event that WSL Football permanently discontinues the Game in accordance with this Section 15, you shall be released from your obligations to WSL Football under these Terms.

WSL Football may, at any time and without prior notice, suspend, restrict or limit access to all or any part of the Game in order to carry out scheduled or emergency maintenance, updates, repairs or improvements to the Game, the Site or the App, or in the event of technical failures, security incidents, or other circumstances affecting the availability or integrity of the Game, the Site or the App. WSL Football shall use reasonable endeavours to minimise the frequency and duration of any such suspension, but shall not be liable to you for any loss or inconvenience arising from any period of unavailability of the Game.

These Terms (including the Game Rules) may be amended or modified, or new conditions may be imposed, at any time. Any such changes or additions will be reflected by an update of this page. You are therefore advised to check these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Game following the posting of changes to these Terms (including the Game Rules) will mean you accept those changes and that such changes shall apply to your use of the Game after such changes have been posted.

If any of these Terms are determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then the remaining terms shall continue in full force and effect.
