Borbe and Whitehouse claim BWSL and BWSL2 Save of the Month honours

Borbe’s winning stop came during Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United, where she produced a stunning reflex save to deny Fridolina Rolfo's header from close range. With the ball destined for the roof of the net, Borbe reacted instantly, getting a strong arm up to redirect the ball onto the upright.

The Arsenal goalkeeper’s intervention stood out among a strong shortlist, with fans voting her save as the standout moment across the Barclays Women’s Super League this month.

In the Barclays Women’s Super League 2, Charlton’s Sophie Whitehouse took the honours for her exceptional save against Newcastle United. Whitehouse showcased her athleticism springing across goal to parry an bending effort destined for the far corner.
