Finding Community this LGBTQ+ History Month
February is LGBTQ+ History month, a moment in the calendar to recognise and celebrate the lives and contributions of LGBTQ+ people.
As one of the most welcoming environments in the wider sporting ecosystem, women’s football prides itself on inclusivity where belonging and acceptance is in its DNA.
With a supporter’s club for every Barclays WSL and Barclays WSL2 team, fans can find their community, and we have collaborated with the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) to signpost official supporters’ clubs across both leagues.

WSL Football is committed to providing a supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community where everyone feels safe.
Additionally, with role models past and present across the game, both on the pitch and off it, we will celebrate the community and their contributions with content across our league channels throughout the month.
