The winners of the Barclays Women’s Super League’s monthly awards for February have now been confirmed.

Voted for by a combination of the public and a panel of industry experts, the successful individuals for the second month of the calendar year are as follows.

Firstly, Manchester City’s Kerolin Nicoli has secured her first Player of the Month trophy since her move to the Citizens after a hugely impressive February in sky blue.

Following three goals in four games at the end of January, she added four more to her tally last month, with three of those coming against Chelsea as she netted her first BWSL hat-trick, before a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win over Leicester City.

Kerolin beat teammate Vivianne Miedema, Everton’s Martina Fernandez and Yuka Momiki, Tottenham Hotspur’s Olivia Holdt, Brighton’s Kiko Seike and Manchester United’s Julia Zigiotti to the award.

Manchester United’s Jess Park meanwhile made it two Goal of the Month successes in as many months for her strike against London City Lionesses, with the forward previously clinching the accolade in January for her goal against Aston Villa.

Strikes from Kiko Seike (v London City Lionesses), Freya Godfrey (v Brighton & Hove Albion), Matilda Vinberg and Olivia Holdt (both v West Ham United), Miri Taylor and Lauren James (both v Liverpool) and Cathinka Tandberg (v Aston Villa) were also in contention.

Finally, the Manager of the Month accolade is awarded to Tottenham Hotspur’s Martin Ho, who led his team to two impressive away wins in February, including a 7-3 triumph at Villa Park and 2-1 victory away at West Ham United to put a ten-point gap between themselves and the teams below them in the league standings.

Manchester United’s Marc Skinner and Everton interim manager Scott Phelan were also in the running.
