Golden Paw Episode 2 featuring Aston Villa

Aston Villa trio Kirsty Hanson, Rachel Maltby and Miri Taylor have joined forces with their dogs for the latest episode of WSL Football’s ‘Golden Paw’.

A Barclays WSL YouTube exclusive series, the dog agility competition was born out of the animal-loving culture in the women’s game and kicked off with Manchester United in March.

In each episode, three players and their pooches will compete for the Golden Paw trophy on an agility course which is specially designed to showcase their teamwork and communication skills.

Hosted by experienced agility judge and competitor Ashleigh Butler – winner of Britain’s Got Talent with her dog Pudsey in 2012 – a trio of cocker spaniels featured as part of Villa’s episode in Hugo (Kirsty Hanson), Kyra (Rachel Maltby) and Raymond (Miri Taylor).
