New defender joins promoted Watford
Watford FC Women have completed the signing of defender Hannah Greenwood.
The 27-year-old has Women’s Super League 2 experience with Newcastle United, and played at the same level last season with Sunderland.
A quick, athletic player, Greenwood can also play in midfield.
She started her career with Durham before moving to the Magpies, where she played 48 times.
Greenwood made 17 appearances for Sunderland, 13 from the start, as they finished eighth in the second-tier during 2025/26.
