Sharp Shooter in at Forest

Lois Shooter has joined Nottingham Forest Women, signing from Chelsea on a year-long loan deal.

The 18-year-old forward, who joined the eight-time WSL champions from London City as an Under-16, made her debut for the Blues last summer having been part of the first team squad’s pre-season campaign.

A regular goal scorer at U21 level, Shooter has represented England at youth level and will spend the entirety of the 2026/27 season at Forest.

On signing for Forest, Shooter said: “I’m really excited to be here. Nottingham Forest is a massive club with great ambition and when I heard about the opportunity to come here, I thought it was the right move for me. I can’t wait to get on the pitch with the girls, meet everyone, and show the fans what I’ve got.

“It’s a period of change for me and the team with the new Head Coach. This move will challenge me as an individual, help me grow as a player and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Tom Mallinson, Head Coach of Forest Women, said: “Lois is an exciting young forward. You need quality to be involved in the England teams and Lois has been a regular scorer at youth level for club and country, so we know how talented she is.

“We need balance in the squad, a mix of youth and experience, and Lois arrives here really hungry to make an impact on the team. We’re excited to be working with her and are confident she can hit the ground running in a Forest shirt.”
