Defender continues her stay in the Midlands

Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce that Chloe Mustaki has signed a new two-year contract with the Club.

The Republic of Ireland international defender will continue her journey at The Reds after committing her future to Forest until the summer of 2028.

Mustaki joined Forest ahead of the 2025/26 campaign following the expiry of her contract at Bristol City, arriving with a wealth of experience across the Women's Super League, Women's Super League 2, and more than 30 senior international appearances for the Republic of Ireland.

The defender enjoyed an impressive first season in Garibaldi, making 20 league appearances as she established herself as a key figure in the back line. Mustaki also registered three assists during the campaign, underlining her influence at both ends of the pitch.

Having quickly become an integral part of the squad through her leadership, consistency and experience, Mustaki will now remain a Red as Forest continue to build towards the future.

On signing the new deal, Mustaki said: "I am delighted to sign a new deal. It’s such an amazing Club and I had a great first season laying the foundations, so I’m extremely excited to get going again and build on that.

“We have a core group of players and staff that are staying on this year and that will help propel us into better performances, better environment, build on everything we started to do last season, and I think it is going to be a really good year.”

Head Coach, Tom Mallinson said: "We're delighted that Chloe has committed her future to the Club. She brings real quality, experience and professionalism to the group, and she is a fantastic influence both on and off the pitch.

"Her performances last season showed exactly why we wanted to bring her to Nottingham Forest. She's a leader, she's incredibly consistent and she sets high standards every day.

"As we continue to build and move the Club forward, keeping players of Chloe's calibre is really important. We're all looking forward to seeing her continue her journey with us over the next two years."

Everyone at Nottingham Forest would like to congratulate Chloe on her new contract and we look forward to seeing her continue in the Garibaldi.
