Republic of Ireland Forward joins Watford

Watford FC Women are delighted to confirm the signing of accomplished striker Saoirse Noonan.

A Republic of Ireland international, Noonan has 14 caps and scored her first goal for the national team against Georgia in 2021.

The 27-year-old recently left Scottish giants Celtic after a successful spell north of the border, where she scored 57 goals in 74 appearances, including five hat-tricks.

In her final match for the Glasgow outfit, Noonan provided the assist for Morgan Cross' goal in a 1-0 victory over rivals Rangers in the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park.

The forward began her career with hometown club Cork City and also played for Dublin-based Shelbourne and second-tier English side Durham before moving to Celtic.
