It's a busy Sunday in the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL), with six fixtures as teams look to build momentum after the opening five games of the season.
Here's everything you need to know about today's action.
Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur
Sunday 18 October, Stamford Bridge, 12pm
One of two 12pm kick-offs sees the league's best defence take on one of its joint-highest scoring sides.
Chelsea are unbeaten in the league, with four wins and a draw, and dismantled West Ham 3-0 last time out. Spurs, meanwhile, saw their unbeaten start ended by London City Lionesses before the international break.
September Manager of the Month Martin Ho will want a response after that heavy home defeat, but history isn't on Spurs' side. They have lost all 13 league meetings with Chelsea since being promoted to the top flight.
Victoria Pelova will be key for Spurs as she looks to score in a fourth straight BWSL game. She carried that form into the international break too, with a hat-trick for the Netherlands against Hungary.
At the other end, Hannah Hampton has four clean sheets, two more than any other goalkeeper. The own goal against Aston Villa on the opening weekend remains the only goal Sonia Bompastor's side have conceded this season.
Crystal Palace vs West Ham United
Sunday 18 October, Borough Sports Ground, 12pm
The other early kick-off is an all-London clash, with both sides chasing a second league win of the season.
Jo Potter's Crystal Palace are looking for their first win since beating Everton on the opening weekend. They have drawn three of their five games, most recently away at Aston Villa, where Abbie Larkin's goal earned them a point.
West Ham had a tougher afternoon last time out, losing 3-0 to Chelsea without registering a single shot or touch in the Chelsea penalty area.
Both sides like to build from a solid defensive structure, but both have conceded double figures so far. They also rank towards the bottom for possession, with West Ham averaging 41.3% and Palace 35.1%, so this one could come down to which attack is more clinical. Palace just edge it so far, with five goals.
The two have met only twice in the BWSL, both in 2024/25. West Ham won both in high-scoring games, 5-2 and then 7-1 in April 2025.
Aston Villa vs Liverpool
Sunday 18 October, Keys Park, 2pm
Aston Villa are still searching for their first win of the season, and face a Liverpool side whose mixed results haven't always reflected their performances.
Brian Sorensen remains in interim charge of Villa and comes up against a familiar opponent, having faced Liverpool in countless Merseyside derbies as Everton manager.
Villa showed signs of improvement in their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, registering 16 shots, their most in a league game since November 2025. A win would also stop them from going on their longest BWSL winless run since February to May 2021, when they went ten games without a victory.
Liverpool want to bounce back from a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester United before the break. Gareth Taylor's side sit sixth, and their win over Everton almost three weeks ago is their only league victory since beating Charlton on the opening weekend.
Results have swung back and forth since the sides first met in the BWSL in November 2022, but Liverpool have the slight edge. They won the last meeting 4-1 in February, and have lost only once away at Villa in that time.
Charlton Athletic vs Manchester United
Sunday 18 October, The Valley, 2pm
Bottom-of-the-table Charlton Athletic are still looking for their first points of the season, and welcome a Manchester United side riding a wave of positive results.
Karen Hills' Addicks have lost all five games so far. Last time out, they took an early lead against Brighton through Cassandra Korhonen's first BWSL goal, but went on to lose 5-1. They also rank towards the bottom of the league for both goals conceded (15) and average possession (23.9%).
Manchester United beat Liverpool 1-0 before the break, thanks to the only goal of the game from their top scorer, Julia Zigiotti Olme, who has two this season. After Phallon Tullis-Joyce's first clean sheet of the campaign, Eva Olid's side will want another, and to extend a five-game unbeaten run in all competitions since losing 5-0 to Chelsea last month.
It will be the first time these two sides have met in the top flight. Their only previous meetings came in the second tier in 2018/19, and United won both.
London City Lionesses vs Everton
Sunday 18 October, Copperjax Community Stadium, 2pm
London City Lionesses and Everton both come into this one off the back of league wins.
London City made a statement in their last game, winning 6-1 away at Tottenham Hotspur. Alexia Putellas and Kadidiatou Diani scored twice each, with Daniëlle van de Donk and Delphine Cascarino also on the scoresheet.
Eder Maestre's side have scored 15 goals, with only Manchester City and Tottenham (16 each) scoring more. Putellas has three goals in her last two BWSL matches, sharing the squad lead with van de Donk, while Diani's three assists are the joint-most in the league.
Scott Phelan's Everton have found goals harder to come by, but have still won three of their five games, all by a single goal. Ruby Mace's brace against Birmingham City last time out accounts for the only two of Everton's four goals to come from open play, and their expected goals total of 4.6 is the ninth-lowest in the league.
Finishing could be key, and last season's two meetings suggest this one could go either way, with each side winning once.
Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Sunday 18 October, Joie Stadium, 2.30pm
Sunday's final kick-off sees Manchester City look to continue their impressive home form under Andrée Jeglertz against an Arturo Ruiz side that has had the international break to settle further into his style of play.
City have won all five of their games so far. They are only the 10th team to do so in BWSL history, but of the nine before them, only three went on to win the title.
Resilience has been key. City have come from behind in four of their last five games in all competitions, and no team has won more points from losing positions this season (six).
Brighton got their first win of the season before the break, scoring five against Charlton. They lost to City in the Women's FA Cup final, their most recent meeting, but did beat them 3-2 in April.
This fixture rarely lacks goals. Lauren Hemp has four goals and two assists, while Khadija Shaw's five goals put her joint top of the scoring charts. For Brighton, Kiko Seike leads the way with three goals, and Olivia Garcia impressed on her first start against Charlton.
