Leg 1 of Fantasy is complete, and OnaBattleAfterAnothr is the champion, finishing on 502 points, 14 clear of Squeaky Brum Time.
But the leaderboard is only half the story. The leg's top scorer was owned by fewer than 2% of managers, the week's top scorer was almost never the captain, and the biggest gameweek came right at the end.

Gameweek 5 was the standout, with the average score jumping 17 points on the week before. If you scored more than 72 that week, you beat the average.
A three-way race for top spot
Kangtortion FC led after Gameweek 1, Squeaky Brum Time held top spot through Gameweeks 2 and 3, and OnaBattleAfterAnothr took over for the final two weeks to win the leg.
The points that got away
Spare a thought for Aussie rules, who left 146 points on the bench across Leg 1, more than any other team. Badgers (142) and Leyland lions FC (141) weren't far behind.
