Ipswich Town Women is excited to announce the permanent signing of Rosella Ayane from Leicester City.
The experienced forward, who has spent most of her career in the Barclays Women’s Super League, arrives at Town on an initial one-year deal.
Rosella came through the Academy at Chelsea and made her senior debut for the club at the start of the 2013/14 campaign during a win over Doncaster Rovers Belles.
Loan moves to Millwall, Bristol City and Everton soon followed before a permanent switch to Apollon Limassol in Cyprus, where she scored 19 goals in 19 games.
Rosella returned to England to re-sign for the Robins for a season before joining Spurs at the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
Across six years in North London scored 12 goals in 109 appearances and also helped the side to a Women’s FA Cup final against Manchester United in 2024.
Rosella also brings international experience into the group, having played 35 times and found the net 11 times for Morocco.
